Students engaged in creating displays to support a mechandising lesson. Students were given a variety of books to create an attractive display with no props. Students were given 60 seconds to create the display while fellow peers observed and prepared to provide feedback. Students worked in teams of threes. Students enjoyed the competition and the pressure of using team skills to create attractive displays. The activity provided a realistic approach to merchandising.
