Jaguar Nation,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 Academic year. As we begin our school year using a virtual platform I look forward to assisting your academic growth and anticipate the day we return to the halls of RHHS together. With that being I said I am excited to continue my role as Assistant Principal here at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School. I look forward to working with our staff, students, families, and our community members during the 2020-21 school year.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Jacksonville State University (2003), Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University (2014), and my EDS in Educational Administration from Arkansas State University (2020). Currently I am pursuing a doctoral degree from South Carolina State University. I began my teaching career at West Hardeeville in 2004 and served as a teacher and head football coach at both Hardeeville High School and Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School. The 2020-2021 school year will be my 17th year in education and 13th year here in Jasper County.
Whether this is your first or fourth year as a student at RHHS, I welcome you to RHHS and look forward to seeing each of you grow everyday as a student. The 2020-2021 academic year marks our long anticipated opening of the new CTE center on campus that will include specialty programs to ensure you graduate career ready. It is my intention that you take advantage of the wonderful opportunities that our district is providing. The economic benefits of our programs will have a lasting economic impact for you personally and for Jasper County. Our county is growing economically and it is our intent that you graduate college, career, or military ready; better yet college and career ready.
