PLEASE...Let me introduce myself!


Greetings Jaguar Family,




My name is Ms. Hannah Johnson, I am currently a Secondary Social Studies Teacher at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School (RHHS). I am divorced and I have five (5) wonderful children and four (4) beautiful grandchildren. 


During the 2020-21 academic school year I will be teaching U.S. History, Modern & World History and Government/Economics. I have been a Dedicated Educator for 20+ years. This is my first year with Jasper County School District. I am eager to make great connections with the students, parents, staff, administrators all stakeholders at RHHS.


Although, my “Roots” hail from St. John Island, Charleston to Darlington, SC. I am a native of New Jersey “born and raised.” My young children and I relocated to the “Low Country” area from the State of New Jersey. I possess an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts/ Teacher Education from Passaic County Community College, Bachelor’s Degree from the Ashford University, Clinton, Iowa graduating “Alpha Sigma Lambda Society” w/ Distinguished Honors from the Social Science Department w/ a Concentration in Education. I am enrolled in law school pursuing a Master’s of Legal Studies Degree in (non-profit advocate for civil rights) for at-risk populations in society.


For the past ten years I have been an Executive Director in the private sector as educational consultant.


I look forward to graciously contributing and collaborating with the 2020-2021 students, parents, staff, administration and all other stakeholders. For I am certain that we will obtain great accomplishments as a Team.


My goal is to provide your child with the knowledge, skills and attitude that he/she needs to be successful in their school year and hereafter. I would ask for your cooperation so that your child will come prepared to class and ready to learn each day. I have high expectations for each of my students and will hold them accountable to do their best and to be their best at the times.
