Assistant Principal of Instruction
"If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however, if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that." -Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year! My name is Tenika Evans, and I serve as the Assistant Principal of Instruction (API) for Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School (RHHS) under the leadership of Dr. Marlyn Westbrook.
I joined Jasper County School District in 2019 as the Assistant Principal at Hardeeville-Ridgeland Middle School. Prior to joining the Hurricane family, I served as the Middle Years Programme Coordinator at Williams Middle School under the leadership of Pamela Johnson. My past experiences include curriculum facilitator and middle school math teacher.
My educational experiences include educational leadership certification from Lamar University, Educational Specialist degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and my Bachelors of Science degree in political science from Francis Marion University.
I am proud to serve as the API in Jasper County at RHHS. My primary responsibility includes ensuring quality teaching and learning. I assist teachers with implementing best practices in the classroom either through professional learning communities or one-on-one assistance.
If there's ever anything I can do to assist with regards to curriculum and instruction, please do not hesitate to call me at 843-489-8844 ext. 4402 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to a school year where we support Today's Learners...Tomorrow's Leaders!
