Mr Nizamuddin Ameer Syed » Welcome

Dear Parents:

Welcome to the new semester! I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about working with your child this semester. My name is Mr. Syed and I will be your child’s math teacher for this school year.  I am excited to have your child in my class and very excited to get a chance to lead your child through a wonderful and fascinating experience over the next few months.

It is my goal to provide all students with an educationally challenging experience in my class. Your child will need to be  on top of every project, assignment, activity, and effort that we do. There will always be something your child   will be doing in this class.

I have extremely high expectations of all my students.  It is my expectation that all work assigned to your child  must  be completed on time. Of course, all students do not work at the same pace. If your child does not complete    an assignment in class, he or she will be required to complete it at home. The way you can help is to ask your child every school day if schoolwork needs to be done, and if so, make sure your child completes his or her assignments.    I am asking for your help to maintain these expectations.

Your child also has a class syllabus that has been given to them in class and also posted on school web page. The   class rules, expectations, and supply list is listed in the syllabus.

I am available to help students individually during second half of lunch from 12:10 pm to 12:40 pm and after school from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day except on Fridays.

Finally, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me, I am available to talk to you daily during  my planning from 12:50 p.m. - 2:10 p.m. except on Tuesdays, or you may e-mail me. My contact information is 843-489-8892 Ext: 4100 or
