Assistant Principal - Senaca Baines

I am elated to be selected as assistant principal of Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School.  With assistance from my staff, students, parents, and stakeholders, I hope to achieve positive outcomes.

I am originally from Latta, South Carolina where I graduated from high school in 1996.  I attended the College of Charleston, earning an undergraduate degree in Political Science.  I later attended Grand Canyon University for my Master’s degree and currently pursuing my doctorate in education.

I am a life-long learner whose career as an educator started with a teaching position at my alma mater in 2001.  Several years later, I received my first principalship in Barnwell, South Carolina before moving to Walterboro as principal of Colleton County Middle School. My last stint as principal was to the Allendale County School District.  I have served on several state panels and is certified as a Transformational Specialist.

I eagerly anticipate a long, effective relationship with Jasper County.  Above all, I value faith, being very active in my church; married to my wife of 17 years with 5 amazing children.
