RSAE Career and Advanced Technology Education (CATE) students participated in the JA Park Finance Mobile Park Simulation on Tuesday, May 6th, and Wednesday, May 7th, 2025. After learning about financial literacy concepts like income, taxes, savings, and budgeting in class, students visited the JA Finance Park® simulation. Students received a Young Adult Profile at random, showcasing their career, salary, credit score, marital status, and whether they have children. There, they worked with volunteers to practice what they’ve learned by making decisions about how to spend and save in 20 areas. By the end of the experience, they will have created and followed a monthly budget and understand how to reach their financial goals while living within their means.
