Description

 Students will list seven or more general guidelines/duties for Customer Service Representatives.  Students will share their lists with a peer to analyze the selected guidelines.  The teacher created names for various industries/professions for students to randomly select.  Students selected an industry/profession and reviewed their original customer service guidelines/duties to analyze whether or not their listed guidelines would be appropriate for the selected industry/profession. 

Based on their analysis, students will create a brochure for Customer Service Representative guidelines for the selected industry/profession.  Students will include at least three pictures to enhance the appearance of their brochure.   Sources will be cited.  

The teacher demonstrated the steps needed to create a brochure and students brainstormed to maked a list of duties/guidelines for Customer Service Representatives.  Their brainstorming results were placed on the Aquos board by several student volunteers.   A brochure sample was provided for students.

Students are covering the standard:  Presenting an oral presentation.  
 
Students will select a topic to present to an audience of their peers.  Students will follow the standard guidelines for giving oral presentations  The reading materials have been placed in OneNote in the Content Library section  A rubric has been provided.  Students will have two-three minutes to present and may present in pairs.  Students were given rubrics for guidance in earning the maximum number of points.

Notary Public
Objective: Students will be able to obtain document notarization and understand the legal requirements for a Notary Public.

The students will research the requirements needed to be commissioned as a Notary Public and the types of documents that should be notarized.  The students will work in pairs to complete a PowerPoint for Notary Public qualifications for various states.  Students will include the following information:
  • Age Requirement.
  • Reading Levels Requirement
  • Mental Status
  • Voting Eligibility
  • Term
  • Filing Fees
  • The Commissioning agent  for the Notary Public Applicants.
  • Types of documents eligible to be notarized.
