Special Olympics/Function Skills

Course Description

Special Olympics is founded on the belief that people with disabilities can, with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy, and benefit from participation in individual and team sports. These must be adapted only as necessary to meet the needs of those with mental and physical limitations.

I am proud to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, the RHHS Functional Life Skills classroom has been awarded a Special Olympics Grant!

Moving forward, it looks like we will be attending Bowling in December and Track and Field in April.  We are also looking into the possibility of participating in a basketball event.
