Dear Parents/Guardians,
At Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence, we anticipate an even greater academic year than we had last year. To do this, we have recruited, interviewed and secured the best talent for our students. This was done because we believe that a caring, competent and qualified teacher for every child is the most important ingredient in education.
While we have hired staff for each position, we are still working on the process and bringing some of our teachers on board and in the United States. However, we are committed to our district motto, "Excelling Beyond Barriers," and we know that this is a barrier that is not insurmountable and that we will conquer with the plan we have implemented.
With that in mind, when you visit classrooms for Open House, you may see a substitute staff member filling in for some of our teachers until they arrive. We are confident that the staff members we have selected for these rooms will do an excellent job fulfilling the responsibilities during the first few weeks of school. In addition, in accordance with the Parents' Right to Know, we will continue to update you as our new staff members arrive.
