The RSAE Angel Tree Project 2023 was a wonderful success. We had 29 staff members assume the role of Angels and sponsor 37 anonymous students on our campus. Last Wednesday was gift giving day and the smiles and the spirit of Christmas were abundant around the building. The SGA Advisors delivered the gifts to Mrs. Goodwin, our school social worker, who had the delightful task of disbursing the gifts to those students who were selected to receive for Christmas.
We are so thankful for our RSAE Staff Angels for the gifts, our social workers, Mrs. Steadman-Barr and Mrs. Goodwin for their assistance in identifying the students for this project. A special thanks goes to Ms. Laurent, 7th grade science teacher, and her church for their donation that sponsored 4 students for the Angel Tree Project. And a huge thanks goes to our SGA Advisors, Mrs. Velayuthan, Ms. Mervin and Mr. Smiley for their efforts in making this project a success, We are looking forward to blessing even more students next year!
