Student ambassadors met with Mr. Kelvin Simmons, the career specialist to spearhead a week of activities promoting school pride and sharing why we love and chose Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School. We believe at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School that every child deserves an effective, challenging, and motivating education. “National School Choice week has been an exciting week here at RHHS. Our students are dynamic and I can put them up against any student across the nation, and they will compete,” stated Dr. L. R. Dinkins, Assistant Principal.
During the week the activities included a kick-off on Monday, where ambassadors created a video showcasing the initiatives at RHHS. On Tuesday all students signed the RHHS Pride Pledge. On Wednesday students wrote on the topic, “I love my school because”. On Thursday, information was shared with parents and community members at the School Improvement and Parent, Teacher, Student Association meetings. To culminate the event, school-wide red and black day was done on Friday.
The students and staff thoroughly enjoyed National School Choice Week.
