Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! "Empowering Every Student, Every Day"! I’m Cynthia Hasty, one of the School Counselors at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence. I’m here to support your academic, social, and emotional growth every step of the way. Whether you’re navigating challenges, setting goals, or simply need someone to talk to—I’m here for you.

🎓 About Me

I’m a proud product of the Jasper County School System and a graduate of Ridgeland High School, Class of 1986. My educational journey continued at Benedict College, Webster University, and Cambridge College, where I earned my Master of Education in School Guidance and Counseling. Life has a way of bringing you full circle, and I’m honored to serve the very community that shaped me.

For the past 24 years, I’ve worked in the Jasper County School District—18 of those as a School Counselor right here at RSAE. I love being a Supporter, Believer, Counselor, Listener, and Advocate for all students.
