Dear Parents and Guardians,
My name is Ghufrana Amreen and I will be your child's teacher for Algebra-1 this semester. Mathematics is my passion; I am committed to helping each one of my students to develop love, and respect for the subject. Math is not only an important school subject but an important subject for life.
To ensure that your child does well in the learning process, please make sure that he/she come prepared on time each & every day, and that students charge their devices the night before. All the announcements/reminders, syllabus, and learning schedules will be uploaded here on my website page. The assignments will be graded daily and grades will go in grade book twice a week. If for a genuine reason a student is out he has 2 days to submit it for a grade. There will be a quiz/test on Fridays to check their progress and make necessary adjustments in learning. If the student needs extra help I am available during my planning.
My goal is to provide your child with the knowledge, skills, and attitude that he/she needs to be successful in their school year and hereafter. I would ask for your cooperation to prepare your child for class and be ready to learn each day. I have high expectations for each of my students and will hold them accountable to do their best and to be their best at all times.
