The goal of the counseling department at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence is to provide a structured program of services to ensure that all students (Grades 6-12), regardless of their individual differences, acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners. Our comprehensive program addresses the educational, career, and personal/social competencies necessary for all students to function and contribute to a changing society.
