Media Release: Hardeeville Youth Council campaigns at RHHS

Michaela Williams, a junior at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School, represents the Jasper County School District on the Hardeeville Youth Council. The Council includes members from the five high schools in Jasper County. Their mission is to "discuss and vote on select issues" of importance to Hardeeville and to provide the "Hardeeville City Council with input from our young citizens." They recently stopped by RHHS to share their two public service campaigns, littering and distracted driving.

Mock Trial conducted by RHHS students at the local courthouse

Jasper County School District students are participating in projects that enable hands-on
learning experiences. Most projects are centered around high-demand career areas. As many
students at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School aspire to be attorneys, judges, court reporters,
and employees in the law enforcement field. RHHS Students recently participated in a Mock
Trial, held at the Jasper County Courthouse.

Well Done Lady Jags!

Cheers to the Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team! On Saturday, RHHS Lady Jags played a good game in the Lower State Championship, but they were unable to win against Bishop-England. Hats off to Coach Fredrick Toomer and the Varsity Girls Basketball Team for a remarkable season! Below are a few great accomplishments for the 2016-2017 basketball season.

RHHS Varsity Boys Basketball - Congratulations and Thank You!

Congratulations to the Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team! Coach Faber wishes to share a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the success of the team. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by Brookland-Cayce in the third-round playoff game. Nonetheless, the boys had an incredible season and below are a few great accomplishments for the 2016-2017 basketball season.

RHHS Student Represents Jasper County at ERSAC Meeting

Tonathzi Noriega, a senior at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School, recently attended the Educational Reform Student Advisory Council (ERSAC) Meeting held at Francis Marion University. Education and Public Works Committee Chair Rita Allison is the Chairwoman for ERSAC. Representative Allison assembled a group of high school juniors and seniors to share their thoughts, concerns, and aspirations about education within their district and South Carolina.
