Welcome back to a great year 2023/24. Education is important and a guiding principle in our lives. In spite of what it looks like, I need you to know we are in this together. Alex Jasin wrote an article entitled “What does success really mean to you?” We must set our goals and objectives based on what we desire. The path to success is to ask yourself what makes me happy? My job as an educator is to impart knowledge and motivate students to reach their full potential. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration, and certified to teach Business, Marketing, and Technology courses.
Currently I teach 3 classes:
- Fundamental of Computing which is designed to introduce students to the field of Computer Science. Students will gain an understanding of the history and operation of computers, programming, and web design.
- Digital Literacy which is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills of technology. Students will find, evaluate, and create information using technology. Students will gain understanding of the computing system, network and Internet.
- Introduction to Career Clusters is designed to introduce middle school students to career possibilities in the sixteen national clusters adopted by the South Carolina Department of Education. Students will explore job task and career opportunities in each cluster while identifying pathways for high school, college, and the work environment.
