Greetings All!!! Meet the Teacher
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Princess Biggerstaff and I am excited to serve as your 8th grade Social Studies Teacher. I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica! Teaching is my passion and I have been an educator for over 25 years. I was educated at The Mico University College where I received my Diploma in Education: Social Studies and Religious Education, the University of the West Indies where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Education and The American College of Education where I completed my Masters in Literacy. I taught at the Wolmer'sTrust High for Girls in Jamaica for 20 years, Hardeeville Ridgeland Middle for 5 years, and Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence for 1 year. I believe that all children can learn and I look forward to a productive year of teaching and learning, building on the skills you mastered last year. I believe that a collaborative learning environment where parents, students, and teachers work together, promotes success as such I welcome your questions and concerns as the year progresses.
