Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)

What is AVID?

AVID is the college and career-readiness system used at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence to ensure an equitable and student-centered instructional environment where all students are prepared for college, careers, and life.

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination

The Mission of AVID is to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
