ESOL Third Block, Unit 1

Happy November! We are working every day on vocabulary and literary devices. So far, we have learned about point of view, locating information within a text, using evidence from a text to answer questions, personification, and genres. We are going to begin working on synonyms, antonyms, and analogies.  We are reading in readworks.org also. The class code for third block is DDEAZG once you log on to the website readworks.org. Every student has reading assignments every day. We do many of them in class, as well as independently. Please make sure to keep up with the reading assignments. We will be preparing for our Access test this late winter so it is important to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English every day. Thank you!
